ALBUM REVIEW : LOGIC – THE INCREDIBLE TRUE STORY

You all know how much I love Logic. He’s probably one of my favorite new school rappers and I couldn’t more eager to finally listen to his sophomore album “The Incredible True Story”. When he released the first single “Young Jesus” I was a bit skeptical about how the whole project would sound and specifically how it would sound in comparison to his debut “Under Pressure”. Would he change it up and explore a new style ? Or will he maintain his usual dramatic, highly instrumented sound which his die-hard fans know and love?

NEW MUSIC: LOGIC – YOUNG JESUS FT BIG LENBO

Woooooo, Logic is back guys!!!!! This is the rapper’s first single off his upcoming sophomore album “The Incredible True Story”  and it’s called “Young Jesus”. I’m not really sure why he chose to go with that name considering he is better known as the “Young Sinatra” but it’s an interesting title. I love the beat of this song, and I’m not surprised that it was produced by his long time producer 6ix. The song also features Logic’s best friend and label mate , Big Lenbo, so it’s all Visionary Music Group on this one. I just got good vibes from this song, and although I wouldn’t say it’s as much of a statement as “Under Pressure” was, It’s good to know he still got it. Did you guys like the song? Comment below x

ALBUM REVIEW: ZEDD – TRUE COLORS

My relationship with this German born producer and DJ is really funky. A few years ago I was tweeting “What is a Zedd?” and now I’m such a huge fan of his work.  When he  dropped his sophomore LP, “True Colors” , I couldn’t wait to hear his growth from debut album “Clarity” which in itself gained him millions of fans and made him a house-hold name in Electronic Dance music today.

Album Review : LOGIC – UNDER PRESSURE

Yes people, the wait is finally over, Logic’s album is finally out! It’s been a long and painful wait for avid listeners like me, who have watched his career flourish from the beginning. I’m all about that breath of fresh air and from the day I listened to his first mixtape “Young, Broke and Infamous” I knew that he was going to take over the world of rap by storm one day. Ultimately I fell in love with his incredible lyrical ability and non-stop flow.
