THE STORM IS COMING

Hey guys! So I know I haven’t blogged in a while and I’m pretty amped to be back on the site I actually hadn’t been here in over a month I even forgot my admin password which I had to recover, yeaah.. it’s been that bad. But anyway,  as some of you know I had a gig on the 8th of October called “The Playlist” and it was such a surreal night for me. If I haven’t thanked the guys who came enough, I’m gonna thank you again. I had so much fun with everyone who came out, it was such a magical experience all inspired by the phenomenon that is “NuNairobi” or was anyway. After my gig I was EXTREMELY exhausted as you might imagine and I was behind on a lot of uni work which I desperately needed to catch up on since its my last year. Long story short I was busy getting my life outside blogging and music TOGETHER lol I basically was so fatigued and I needed time to recharge and just rest up and do something different, AND SO I DID and it was quite rejuvenating. Nevertheless, after my break I struggled to find inspiration from any music and thus I had nothing to really write about and I know that sounds lame but it’s a REAL THING ok. Anyway, I’m posting this because I just wanted to have a heart to heart with my readers lol Not every time music sometimes deep post about life and shit ok haha

So I’m back and I’m gonna be writing a lot of more frequently now.. there’s so much I’ve been listening to I don’t even know where to start guys! This is where it all started and it’s gonna end here ok! Love you all who’ve been so patient.

PS: SO people can stop asking me about the next gig, 2017 is going to be a VERY VERYYYYY productive year. hehehe

Much love x

Camille.

Well a few months ago I was approached with the idea to curate an event based on the #NuNairobi scene as it blows up and continues to manifest itself to the world . I was really skeptical because let’s be honest, I’m a lot of things but  I wasn’t an event organizer; but after a period of thought I decided to give it a go! Anything that can help in the growth of the culture and scene seems not only worthwhile but necessary at this point in time.
